"Doc"toberfest
On April 7th, 2010 the animal community lost a great man and a wonderful Veterinarian, Dr. Liubi "Doc" Tosici. A man who dedicated his life to the care of animals and helping people learn the proper care of their pets. To honor him and help raise money for some of the organizations that were near and dear to him Pups Without Partners is hosting a fundraiser with a bit of a Romanian flair.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to benefit Pups Without Partners Greyhound Adoption, Greater New Haven Cat Project, Halfway Home Rescue Inc, SARAH RESCUE and the Dr. Liubi Animal Wellness Fund.
Friday, October 22nd, 2010 from 6-10:30 pm at Westwoods Ballroom, 85 Chase Lane,West Haven, CT.
Tickets are $35.00 per person
They include: Beer tasting, Delicious Romanian Food, Music and Silent Auction

Lee at Pet Super-Bowl
Lee is our pet food guru. He knows just about everything you need to know to keep your pet healthy and strong. He sells only the best food and is quite knowledgeable in how to care for our pets with special needs too. He is located at 1600 West Broad Street in Statford by the train tracks, across from Hudson Paper. He is open 6 days a week and most nights til 7. If you don't know him, meet him once and you will know why he supplies us with our kibble and such.

Dr Bashkin at Snowflake
For those of you that ask who takes care of our dogs there are two vets that do locally. The first one is Dr Bob Bashkin who works out of Snowflake Pet Center in Milford. He works there a few days a week so call ahead for an appointment. It is located at 1 Rowe Avenue in Milford and the phone number is 203-878-3117. We admire his dedication, compassion and knowledge of the many facets of dog care.

Local girls raise big bucks for SARAH RESCUE dogs
It isn't the first time Elena has raised money for SARAH RESCUE. In 2008 she did with another friend for our Fred. Now she has teamed up with my friend Maria's girls to raise more money for our precious kids. In the picture are from left to right Elena (holding Fannie), Elyse and my friend Maria. Not pictured but involved in the fundraiser were Kathleen, Brendan, Christina, and Ashlyn. The group raised $101.00 at a lemonade stand for SARAH RESCUE. We are so grateful and appreciate their hard work so mych. Thank you from all of us!!!

Helen's Miracle Chiropractic Doctor
It was just another miracle that we somehow found Dr Jacoba van der Giessen at Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital in Canton, CT. Our Helen has gone from a twisted back to a straight back, her legs have started working again and she is gaining the ability to control her bodily functions too. Our lovely Chiropractic Doctor just loves our Helen and she will be the one that spays her in January after we make sure with blood work that she is up to that leg of her journey. She has also helped Jude to be able to hold his own better too. Paws and Kisses Pet Sitting Service, LLC brings us gifts!
Well, for the second year in a row Mandy Oram, owner of Paws and Kisses Pet Sitting Service, LLC has brought us from her pet food drive tons of things for our kids. We thank God for her generosity as these things are not necessities so our kids might not have seen them if not for her. Here you can see the beds and toys our youngin's are playing with but what you can't see are the towels, leashes and collars, bowls, clothes, and food and treats that came along with them.
