Me and Luca
This was the beginning of a whole new world for me. I met Luca in May of 1999 and could not get her out of my mind and heart until she was safely in my home and out of the shelter where she found me. This picture was us in 2003, when her health was not so much an issue. Adopting a senior dog with health issues was the most complete experience of my life and my heart is still broken that she is gone from me.
