Kaylee came to us from WV back in 04 a month after Jude arrived. Her littermate was kicked to death and she had been kicked so many times in the head that she couldn't lift her head, food wouldn't stay in her mouth and she was having seizures. She arrived via Metro North and my good friend Dena was the one that transported her to me. She was apathetic and very sweet when she arrived and Jude found her and laid next to her every waking moment. She needed surgery to remove the head of her hip as that had been kicked out of the socket and we believed that this would be her home for life. Melanie met her early on and told me again and again over the years that if she could be rehomed she would love to have her. We did acupuncture, high quality diet and some supplements and our girl rallied and then some. The last year here she was running circles around the others and left Jude in the dust most days. It was in September of 07 that I looked at her and knew that it was time, she was too well to be here so I called Melanie and as soon as she could arrange it she came and got her. She is now upstate in a lovely home with 6 other beagle boys and girls and a huge fenced lot. She fit in like she belonged there, and that is what we want for all those that can find forever homes. Kaylee we miss you but know you have the best life imaginable.
