I had this old beagle girl since November of last year and thought she was with me for life but lo and behold, she hit lotto this week. She came from Ohio originally and made it to a rescue in upstate NY where I saw her online and had to have her as her resemblance of Luca was scary. I had all her medical needs met and knew she was too healthy to stay here and deserved a real home of her own. She was put in the Stratford Star this past week and also went to an adoption event at Best Friends in Norwalk and the best thing happened, she found a home. A wonderful woman named Judy in Stratford called and came over and fell in love. She had all sorts of plans for her and just wanted to take her home that day. I thought it over, checked out her application and delivered her there this afternoon. The deal isn't sealed yet but it looks like a home for our girl is finally here.
