Lucy and Rebecca

I met Rebecca through an old Maltese named Mutley that was one of my first official rescues. She became a treasured friend from our first meeting and we still continue to have our paths cross through rescue. She contacted me about a baby shih tzu that had been diagnosed with some problems and needed a rescue. I took her and within a day or so the poor thing started to loose ground. She just sat there apathetic and unresponsive. Upon learning all that had been done to her in a short period of time, shots, flea prevention, etc, it became apparent that she needed to be detoxed and just one dose of a homeopathic remedy and she was a puppy~ All that they thought was wrong with her was hog wash so I got ready to find her a home. My heart continued to tell me Rebecca should have her so I called her and happily she admitted that she really did want her but thought she had too many dogs already. And there you have it, beautiful puppy and mom living in a lovely apartment in Manhattan with sisters and brothers so that she will never be lonely.
