Lisa has a family
This 8 year old poodle mix came from VA with a life long canine sister that was so ill that she didn't last a month. Lisa became depressed and didn't mix with the other dogs choosing to sleep on my bed during the day and cuddle with me at night. I had a few interested people but no one who would commit to a girl with a sensitive heart and a patient person who would let Lisa build trust. Enter Colleen, Donalds new mom's Lynns sister and it was all over. She took her home and all four of them are living and loving life. I got a Christmas picture of Donald as an elf and Lisa as Mrs Claus and it warmed my heart, just to get the chance for these guys to have their own homes is worth saving them all. Thanks you Canavan girls!
