Biography: This is Luna, she was a 6 year old female beagle with a degenerative bone disease that has caused her legs to atrophy and it is difficult and painful for her to get around. We had x rays done of Lunas hips and her spine. The findings were that her hips are disenigrated from lack of blood flow and her spine has arthritis and is fused at the neck and compressed going down the length of her. October 28, 2005. Sadly, the time has come to take my girl to her final resting place. She looked at me two days ago and I finally saw past my own need to heal her and saw the pain that she is enduring. We have an appointment for 11 am on Friday the 28th in MA, the place that means so much to me with the people who will send her on gently and lovingly. My good friend Arlene will travel with me so that I don't have to go alone, thank you my friend. I want to thank you all for all your support and encouragement with this special girl. Jennifer Bridwell, thank you for the flower essences, they started her on the final road to where she will find peace forever. I took some pictures but her eyes have lost that sparkle so I am attaching a picture of when she came, so happy to be safe and loved and able to get around. Those eyes I will never forget, this girl is a sage old soul and she deserves to be released from the old body that has abandoned her. A small piece of me will be sent over the Rainbow Bridge with another of my beautiful beagle girls. I know my Luca will be there to receive her.
