Possum
Biography: Possum was with us almost two years. When she first came she was looking more like a Possum than a dog. Despite years of untreated Cushings Disease her eyes sparkled within the first 24 hours of arrival, she knew life would only get better here. She thrived here, hair grew back, stomach shrunk and her beautiful spirit soared. She loved everyone else but if there was a spat I could always find her in the middle of it. She left quickly, her heart just stopped working, all those years of neglect had caught up with her. I still feel here here, she was so strong. The hole she left in the house is huge, so quiet and the others feel her loss. She truly had her best years here so her remains will be here too as this was truly my girls home. She showed the true spirit of SARAH RESCUE and what love and care can do for a dog that supposedly has no future.
