Charlie & Mae
Biography: Charlie and Mae came to me together from the Bpt Pound (upon the death of their owner) and I promised Teudy that I wouldn't adopt them out separately. They came in February of 05 and had good quality of life for the first two years they were here despite their senior issues. Mae required surgery for a huge tumor that she developed from not getting spayed in March of this year and came out of surgery with a renewed vitality for life. Within a week of her surgery Charlie bottomed out and we had to send him off to heaven. Within the last ten days Mae had stopped eating and dwindled away despite IV fluids and force feeding. Upon consultation of those nearest and dearest ( thank you Julie) and of course upon Dr Tosicis opinion we sent our loving girl to be with her life partner. It is a sad day here at the SARAH Inn, we are just pleased that our two love birds are together again.
