Frankie
SARAH RESCUE sent another member of their family to heaven today. Frank, our most senior shih tzu had always been fragile but this past week he really let me know he was tired and wanted to join Luca and the rest.
September of 2004, right after we lost Luca we found Frankie and Mini at Snowflake Kennel, they were strays from the Bridgeport Animal Control and both were slated to be euthanized as they both had too many health issues to be candidates for adoption. We took them both, Franks picture from Snowflake is first and second is how he looked once we addressed his thyroid, heart, eye and arthritis issues. He was low key, happy to just hang around but he had quite a bark if he wanted to be somewhere other than where he was and needed a helping hand. He left with a whisper, it was a peaceful passing, my last gift to my stinky boy. Hard to believe another little one is gone but I know Luca was waiting for him and is showing him around. Am sure he is soaking up the sights and moving like he was a puppy again.
