Our puppy is gone
Kennedy was abandoned at Caroline County Animal Shelter in VA at8 weeks and only 1 pound. Her litter mates were all rescued but the rescue didn't want the cost associated with her care. We decided she was worth the risk and when she was strong enough brought her home. She acted like a regular puppy and loved like one too. She was all fire and fun and Tyra, our puppy mill chihuahua fell in love with her. We did blood work before her spay and all seemed fine. As she was coming out of the surgery her heart stopped twice. The first time Dr Tosici brought her back but the second time she was gone. There are no words to describe how it feels to get such a call but we are at least happy that we had the few months we had with her. Little one, we miss you so and will meet again.
