Baby came to us  back in 2000 when I was pregnant with my son.  She was found in a yard of a home where her owners left her and her male partner behind.  She was there for weeks before she could be caught.  I took her as a foster dog for another rescue group but soon found that I fell in love with her so here she stayed.  She was a wild one but my son really got close to her and she slept in his room with his othe dog Sparky.  She had developed a heart murmur and when we took her to the vets earlier this year her bloodwork showed signs of irregularities.  The vet suspected cancer and within a month she went blind one day.  By then she wasn't able to eat regularly and had lost her spunk.  We sent her off to be with the rest of the crew on July 15th.  She was not a SARAH dog but she was part of our bunch so thought it fitting to add her memorial here.
